"Drugged by the State" is a harrowing account and exploration of the author's experience of abuse and trauma he endured while under the care of mental health professionals, both as a juvenile and an adult. The author has found a way to cope with his mental health without the use of pharmaceutical medication, which he believes caused his psychosis and schizophrenia diagnosis. He is an advocate for the decriminalization and legalization of psilocybin mushrooms to treat depression and other mental health disorders. I highly recommend "Drugged by the State."
